Personal information is considered any information that can reveal the identity of a person, such as first and last name, address of residence, contact information, education and employment information, as well as other sensitive information obtained during the assessment, counseling and treatment process.
BRIGOJEDAC d.o.o. and BRIGOJEDAC, trade for services, collects personal information with clients’ consent and solely for the purpose of professional evaluation and treatment, as well as maintaining business documentation and payment of provided services. When ordering and engaging in the process of psychological processing and treatment, clients give written consent for the use of personal information for the aforementioned purposes. For children and adolescents up to the age of 16, parents give their consent for the use of their personal information necessary to provide the requested service or professional treatment in child’s best interest.
The User has the right to withdraw his/her consent for providing personal data, and in case of denial of the given permission, the possibility of further mutual cooperation and provision of services will be considered.
Please also note that data relating to professional work with children and adolescents under the age of 18, but also with adult clients are kept confidential and are not disclosed to third parties, except in cases provided by law and regulation when professionals are required to provide information to third parties and/or competent institutions (includes situations such as suspected abuse and neglect, suicidal behavior, intent to endanger a third party).
